eCommerce Tip #143: Align keywords, ad copy, and landing page to maximize CTR and lower your costs

For your Google Ads to be effective, those 3 things must be 100% aligned & consistent:

  • Triggering keywords
  • Ads title and copy
  • Landing page

A discrepancy among those will kill your CTR (Click Through Rate) or CVR (Conversion Rate).

The additional advantage is that when an ad generates high CTR and leads the user to an engaging landing page, it receives a high Quality Score from Google. High Quality Score is the key to win the bidding process on Google Search and keep your bidding costs low. Google always favor effective ads, regardless of the maximum bidding value set by the advertiser.
