Create Urgency and Scarcity.
Where and when possible (and makes sense):
- For each promotion, highlight the deadline and show a countdown.
- Limit the quantity and show how many items are left.

This is another technique that is coming straight from psychology books. We all are sensitive to scarcity. eCommerce showing a small number of available products perform better that similar websites where the same information is not available.
