How to Block ChatGPT and DALL-E from Accessing Your Website Content

If you don’t like or want to let ChatGPT, DALL-E, or any other Artificial Intelligence training bot access your content, you can make your wish explicit by inserting into your website robots.txt a statement to block the Creative Commons Crawler. Creative Commons Crawler is the primary source of content used to train Generative Artificial Intelligence systems like ChatGPT and DALL-E.
Adding this directive doesn’t guarantee blocking all accesses from AI training crawlers, but it will at least block the most popular ones.

Similarly, it is possible to tell crawlers that our website images are unavailable to train systems like DALL-E by inserting simple meta tags in the < head> section of each page’s HTML.
