How to Create a Fictional Character with hMidfJourney

I created a simple short guide on how to make a fictional character using MidJourney.

Thanks to a newly released feature of MidJourney, it is now possible to generate a set of images featuring the same character.

To test the new feature, I started by uploading a MidJourney-created image of a truck driver to Discord. Once the image is available on Discord, we can refer to it to place the same character in various contexts.
The potential and importance of this new feature is huge and cannot be overstated, especially for marketing purposes.

Steps to Create a Series of Images with the Same Character

  1. Select a reference image of your character and upload it to your MidJournety account on Discord. The image can represent a real person or an AI-generated character.
  2. Write a MidJourney prompt describing a scene where the character will be placed. Add a final parameter –cref
  3. Drag and drop the reference image of your character to the end of the prompt. Discord will place the imager URL after the –cref parameter.
  4. Press enter and wait for MidJourney to return your image.
