eBike Gravel Ride to Gaggio Along the Dacauville

Let’s start with today’s ride to the nearby Decuville railway. It’s an abandoned narrow-gauge railway that was built about 100 years ago to support the construction of a few hydroelectric dams and to collect water like a gutter.

Climbing up to the Decauville railway.
This is the starting point of the Decauville railway at an altitude of exactly 1000 meters of altitude.
Under the Decauville, there is a subterranean channel that takes the water to this hydroelectric basin to feed the hydroelectric power plant at the bottom of the valley.
The penstock pipes take the water from the hydroelectric basin above down to the power plant.
The portal of one of the many ancient churches along the ride. This is Carolo.
