I’ve always been fascinated by nature. Over the years, I have learned that learning to observe is the first step in discovering the wonderful world of plants and animals that surrounds us. I’m aware that I am, and I always remain an amateur naturalist. That doesn’t stop my enthusiasm and curiosity. Every single day I take pleasure by the nature that surrounds me. It could be something small as a weed growing on the sidewalk, or magnificent such as a panorama in a natural park. I always try to look at nature with fresh eyes, and I always discover unexpected new details, new shapes, something new to explore. I was lucky enough to grow in a valley on the Italian Alps with daily interactions with the natural environment. Now I live in California, a place characterized by an even wilder and more fascinating nature. I have a special love for botany with a recent excursion into the mysterious and fascinating world of galls.
